This is a great appetizer that I have accidentally ate in one amazing tavern, so I decided to share it with you. It will definitely suit with glass of vine and homemade bread. For good melted cheese you all you need is the right baking temperature and well selected cheeses.
400g feta cheese
250g smoked bacon
400g milk yellow cheese
5 tablespoons tomato paste
5 tablespoons milk
First, heat the oven at max ( mine is 300°C) , and until it is heated place the cheese in a clay pot. It is the best when it melts in clay pot. You can make it in one big pot or 4 small pots.
At the bottom of the pot, put the feta cheese and with fork allocate it all over it. Add the 5 tablespoons of milk and the 5 tablespoons of tomato past.
Cut the bacon into cubes and fry it with little oil. Add it in the pot and put the shredded yellow cheese above it . It will be nice if the cheese is edamer, but you can use any type of milky yellow cheese .
Bake it for 15 minutes while the cheese get golden yellow crust. You can serve this appetizer with boiled wine and hot bread.
