Fruit Cake With Oranges, Pineapple And Cherries

While preparing the biscuit dough for the fruit cake ,usually the egg yolks and the sugar are mixed separately, in that mixture carefully are added the flour and the other ingredients and at the end the foam from the egg whites.

The energy value of pineapple is about 46 kcal per 100 g of fruit. It contains carbohydrate as well as minerals potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and manganese. It is rich in vitamin C and betacarotene. It is available year-round, fresh, in rings or small pieces, in the form of compote or candied fruit.

Crust:

5 eggs

125 g sugar

125 g flour

Dressing:

50 g jam

1 orange

1 can pineapple

50 g cherries

1 bag gelatin

50 g sugar

Decoration:

300 ml sweet cream

  • Ready: 40 min

Mix the egg whites with sugar, add egg yolks and slowly stir in the flour.

Pour into oiled and flour sprinkled cake mold and bake in oven for 20 minutes at 200 °C.

Cover the cooled biscuit with jam and align the rings of pineapple and slices of oranges. Add cherries and put in the fridge to get a little tightened.

Prepare gelatin according to instructions on the bag and add 50 g of sugar. Cooled gelatin pour over the fruit. Decorate the whipped cream.
