Banana Lassi (Indian refreshing yoghurt drink)

Lassi is a very popular drink in Punjab area. It fine for breakfast, and also it can be a refreshing drink for our youngest .

2 bigger bananas, peeled and cut into slices

250 ml thick yogurt

pinch grained cardamom

To taste can be added:


cold water / cold milk

ice cubes

In a blender put yogurt, add chopped banana and a pinch of ground cardamom

Add honey to taste and if the mixture is thick, you can add more water / milk to the desired density, add ice cubes and serve.

Tip: Low fat yogurt is thinner, there is not need for extra water or milk. This drink can also be made with mango. Enjoy your meal.
